Job Details

General job duties include protecting, promoting, and restoring health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of Registered Nurse licensure.

Collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum.

Assessing and supporting physical symptoms, providing psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

Mentoring assigned team members and promoting best practices.

Maintaining professional disposition at all times.

Assuming responsibility for providing direct patient care and documentation in the EMR as required.

Job Requirements

Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.

1 year or more of hospital experience preferred.

Current IL RN license is required.

BLS certification is required.

Schedule Information

12-hour shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a).

Every third weekend (day shift Sat / Sun, night shift Fri / Sat).

Holiday rotation is required.

Unit Specific Information

Travel RNs are first to float to other departments as needed.

Any color scrubs is fine, no pediatric scrubs please.
