About the Opportunity
We are GROWING! Abrolat Law PC, a boutique California employment litigation firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Employment Litigator to lead high-impact PAGA, wage-and-hour, and misclassification cases. If you're a results-driven attorney who thrives on substantive legal work, values professional independence, and wants to escape firm bureaucracy, this is your role.
This flexible, remote position offers the autonomy to manage complex cases from inception through resolution while collaborating with our principal attorney on strategic direction. You'll work with a firm that prioritizes precision, client outcomes, and meaningful legal practicenot billable hour metrics.
What You'll Do
- Lead active PAGA and class action cases from initial strategy through final resolution
- Draft and argue critical motions, including class certification, summary judgment, and dispositive motions
- Manage discovery strategy, client communications, and case timelines independently
- Coordinate with the firm's principal attorney on case direction and settlement strategy
- Direct or mentor junior contract attorneys on specific projects as needed
- Develop and refine legal arguments in complex employment litigation matters
What We're Looking For
Required :
Active California Bar license in good standing8+ years of civil litigation experience with demonstrated focus on employment and wage-and-hour mattersProven track record in PAGA and class action practice (lead counsel experience preferred)Exceptional legal writing, analytical judgment, and oral advocacy skillsSelf-directed professional capable of thriving in remote collaborationStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlinesPreferred :
Plaintiff-side employment litigation background or complex civil litigation experienceProficiency with legal tech platforms (Clio, Relativity, or similar case management systems)Experience managing discovery and expert coordination in class actionsTrack record of successful class certification or favorable settlement outcomesCompensation & Structure
