Currently, we have a Junior Credit Analyst / Underwriter opportunity with a growing community bank. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team! The Junior Credit Analyst / Underwriter supports the bank’s commercial lending function by performing credit analysis, underwriting, and ongoing credit monitoring for the commercial portfolio. This role is foundational to the bank’s credit risk management framework and provides exposure to financial analysis, underwriting standards, regulatory expectations, and portfolio management practices. The position is designed for a developing credit professional with strong analytical skills and an interest in career progression within credit or lending. Junior Credit Analyst / Underwriter is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include :

Credit Analysis & Underwriting :

• Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and global debt service coverage.
• Spread financial statements and prepare borrower and guarantor cash flow analyses.
• Underwriting new credit requests, renewals, modifications, and extensions in accordance with bank policy.
• Evaluate collateral, guarantor strength, and repayment sources.
• Prepare clear, concise credit memoranda for loan committee and senior management review.

Pay Rate Range : $65,000 - $75,000

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
