Our Auburn Pump and Motor Repair Shop is looking for a skilled Machinist to join the team.

Primary Functions

At the direction of the Shop Management the Machinist is to perform typical duties of a traditional manual machinist working with horizontal lathes, vertical milling machine, general machine shop equipment : band saws, Bridgeport drill presses, grinders, as well as some welding.

Machinist Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional lathes, mills, balancing equipment, and commutator profiler.
• Ability to machine housings, shafts, keyways, and sleeves.
• Must be familiar with common industry tolerances and fits for motor repair.
• Fabricate products to meet established quality standards and the requirements of our customers.
• Establish and follow maintenance schedules for shop equipment.
• Provide technical expertise as needed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times.
• Organize and maintain personal and shop tools and equipment.
• Willing and able to work OT as required.

Salary Range between $20 - $30 / hour.
