Activity Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team at Highfield Gardens Care Center, a leading sub-acute and long-term care facility in Great Neck, New York. Activity Assistant Responsibilities:
Implement meaningful activities, programs, and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
Coordinate with therapists, healthcare professionals, and family members to develop individualized activity plans that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being
Assist residents with daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing, and mobility exercises
Engage residents in various activities, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs
Maintain accurate records of resident activity participation and progress
Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and supportive environment
Activity Assistant Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role or related field
Ability to communicate in Persian a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
