Maintenance Technician

A large-scale food production facility near Cambridge City, IN is hiring Maintenance Technicians at multiple skill levels. Whether you're starting your maintenance career or a highly skilled technician ready to lead and mentor others, this company offers a structured path with clear advancement opportunities.

You'll support maintenance operations on pneumatic systems, conveyor belts, and other automated equipment. Responsibilities include routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, and installation or breakdown of equipment. Technicians will be placed into one of three tiers based on hands-on and verbal skills testing upon hire.

The facility operates 7 days a week, and technicians typically work 5-day schedules with occasional Saturday work or extended weeks. Overtime is readily available! Candidates with flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shift are strongly preferred in the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions

Read schematics, manuals, and diagrams to guide repairs

Follow Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures

Shifts Available :

1st Shift : 7AM - 3PM

2nd Shift : 3PM - 11PM

3rd Shift : 11PM - 7AM
