Schedule : Full-time, Days (8x5), 40 hours / week guaranteed. Open availability required.

Clearance : U.S. Citizenship and ICE Clearance (3–4 weeks processing)

Position Overview :

The Mental Health Coordinator provides clinical mental health services to inmates within a correctional facility setting. This includes conducting screenings, assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address individual needs while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct mental health screenings and evaluations using clinical interviews and record reviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and follow-up care.
  • Document all clinical activities accurately in patient records.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and methods.

    • Qualifications : Education :

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.

    • Licensure :

  • Active state license as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (in the state of practice).
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
