AEM Developer

Job Title : AEM Developer

Location : Chicago, IL - on site is preferred, but remote is ok for an ideal fit.

Length : 6-10 months

Core Requirement :

7+ years of web software development experience (with at least 3+ years of AEM experience)

Deep knowledge of localization using AEM for global / multilingual websites

Hands-on expertise in AEM localization concepts such as AEM MSM, i18n labels, Tags, asset metadata modifications, access control, workflow & publishing

Knowledge of Translation processes within AEM and integration with a Translations Service provider (like TransPerfect and / or LionBridge or other)

Strong expertise in AEM configuration & customization around components, templates, workflows, taxonomy, metadata, CFs / XFs, replication, tagging, analytics, builds / deployments, and content migration

Hands-on with integrating search solutions such as AEM Search / Lucene, Solr or Coveo / Algolia / ElasticSearch, etc.

Expertise in migrating content & assets into and out of AEM

Knowledgeable on non-functional requirement such as accessibility, SEO, URL management, security, performance, and responsiveness and their implications on AEM design & development

Well versed with SDLC tools like Azure / Jira Boards, Confluence, DevOps CI / CD Pipelines (using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Cloud Manager, etc.), code coverage tools (like SonarQube, Gradle, etc.), functional / browser testing tools (like Selenium, Playwright, Perfecto, Cypress, BrowserMob, SauceLabs, etc.) and load / performance testing tools (like LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, etc.)

Fluent and clear in communication - detailed in documentation

Ability to collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders (onshore and offshore)

Quick learner, self-motivated and proactive

Experienced in working in a locked down client environment, and complying with Sapient / client security protocols and standards

Bonus :

Full stack development experience (like HTML5 / CSS3 / JS, Sightly / HTL, React.js / Next.js, etc.) would be a bonus

Knowledge of AEM in both a headful and headless mode (knowledge of SPA editor and Remote SPA is a plus) - GraphQL and AEM JSON Model Exporter

Knowledge of technical SEO for global / multi-lingual sites (international SEO)

Experience on Brightcove, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, Adobe Marketo and AEM as a Cloud Service

Experience with AEM Forms, Cloud Manager, Admin Console, Adobe I / O Runtime, and Adobe I / O Events
