Registration as an Architect by the State of Illinois.Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from an accredited five year college or university majoring in architecture or architectural engineering and four years’ experience in architecture, one year of which must have been at the full professional level.Substitution
Graduate study in architecture or architectural engineering may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Professional or sub-professional architecture or architectural engineering experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.Promotional Requirement
