About the Role

Wallaby Search & Placement is seeking an experienced and driven Purchasing Agent to join Tigris Fulfillment Partners’ rapidly growing team. In this position, you will own the backbone of their supply chain, ensuring inventory levels meet the needs of customers, while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Reporting directly to the Director of Merchandising, you will also analyze data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing processes and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is someone with operations and / or supply-chain experience, who has an eye for process improvement, heavy attention to detail, and is comfortable wearing different hats.

You Will

• Work closely with vendors to source and purchase inventory, monitor stock levels, and address operational challenges as they arise
• Analyze data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing processes and drive business growth
• Navigate vendor relationships and operational hurdles, escalating issues to Account Managers as needed
• Learn new skills, tools, and best practices each and every day
