Now hiring for PRN Respiratory Therapists (RT) for All Shifts in Baton Rouge, LA!

Requirements :

  • Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and be a graduate of an approved AMA school of Respiratory Therapy
  • Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including 12 hour shifts
  • Patient care oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude

    • Duties :

  • Provide general respiratory therapeutic services including oxygen, medical gas, humidification and suction therapies.
  • Document patient / resident procedures, organize and analyze data, maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate relevant patient / resident information to appropriate physicians and caregivers
  • Provide staff education related to respiratory therapy
  • Exhibits commitment to results by looking for and recommending / implementing process improvements
  • Monitor patient / resident progress and update respiratory care plan as needed
