Descripción del trabajoSupport all aspects of subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes. Process RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing request and facilitate broadcast announcement of bidding opportunity. Competently draft, proof, review, and deliver both private and public proposals. Work with Project Managers, Marketing, and administrative staff coordinating contributions from all into proposals. Qualify sub-tier bids for completeness and compliance. Ensure company compliance with bidding regulations and goals of each project (advertising, etc.) Work on multiple company bids simultaneously and delivering in accordance with deadline objectives. Operate and maintain proficiency in all internal estimating systems, technologies, and software. Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing quality assurance controls in estimating. Promptly reports changes and issues in scope and revenue to senior management. Experience in estimating commercial roof projects. Able to read, understand and follow required construction documents. Proficient in construction estimating software (Bluebeam, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Construct Connect) Excellent written and verbal skills & strong numerical and analytical skills. Able to work with external clients using strong commercial awareness. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong leadership attributes. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, coworkers, and vendors. Familiarity with cost control methods and financial & project management principles. In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation metrics Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities. Excellent time management. Ability to lift tools and equipment as well as set up and climb a ladder. Self – generate opportunities, prospecting and cold calling. Provide top notch customer service to all clients and customers. Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout New England as needed.

The Sales Manager is responsible for detailed estimates for the project based on the construction drawings and specifications or site visit. Assists with the communication of bids and scopes of work. This position also works to establish costs for materials, equipment, subcontracted work, production activities, requirements, and labor.
