Collaborative Registered Nurse - GU Oncology - Days

Hourly Pay Range

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position : Cancer Care Collaborative Nurse, GU Oncology Clinic

Location : Kellogg Cancer Center – Evanston, IL

Full Time | 40 hours / week

Hours : Monday - Friday, 8am- 4 : 30pm

Required Travel : Travel to Swedish Hospital Cancer Center - as needed

What You Will Do

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients

Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically

Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations

Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management

Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What You Will Need

License : Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

Education : Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, preferred but required within 5 years of position's start date.

Certification : BLS / CPR certification required, BMTCN / OCN certs preferred.

Experience : Minimum 1 year Oncology experience required; GU Oncology experience preferred.
