Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa is looking for an Interventional Cardiologist to fill their need!

Schedule :

  • Call coverage ONLY (No Clinic)

Current Coverage Needed : 24 hour call

  • 11 / 4 (7a) - 11 / 10 (7a)
  • 11 / 27 (7a) - 12 / 2 (7a)
  • 12 / 2 (7a) - 12 / 8 (7a)
  • 12 / 24 (7a) - 1 / 5 (7a)
  • 1 / 22 (7a) - 1 / 27 (7a)
  • 2 / 18 (7a) - 2 / 24 (7a)
  • 3 / 19 (7a) - 3 / 24 (7a)
  • 4 / 16 (7a) - 4 / 21 (7a)

    • Details :

  • Inpatient only
  • Patient volume varies - 3 consults per day, 2 procedures per day
  • Trauma level II
  • 18 ICU beds, 18 tele beds, and 10 CMU beds
  • APP support - APP's- M-F 1-2 APP's are staffed during the day, weekends- 1 APP for 5 hours / day
  • Interventional cardiology procedures required
  • TEE's would be highly preferred. Balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs and IFR are important.
  • STEMI volumes vary greatly. In 2020 they averaged 3 STEMI activations per week

    • Travel Requirements :

  • Flights - $750 / round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees)
  • Lodging - $179 / night cap for hotels (to include all taxes and fees). Preferred Lodging : Candlewood Suites Boise Towne Square, an IHG Hotel.
  • Rental Car - To be reimbursed by facility (not to be used with personal car / mileage reimbursement). $50 / day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV / upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather).
  • Mileage - IRS Standard Rate to be reimbursed by facility (only to be used with personal vehicle, not to be used with rental car).

    • Bill Rates Needed for Submission :

  • Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
  • Orientation
  • 24 Hour On Call ($4800 rate cap with 10 hours gratis)
  • Holiday 24 Hour On Call
  • Weekend Call
  • Holiday Weekend Call
  • Call Back
  • Holiday Call Back
  • Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)

    • Please make sure you have the following items readily available for your provider at the time of acceptance in order to expedite the credentialing process

  • MD diploma
  • Internship / residency / fellowship certs
  • All medical licenses
  • DEA
  • Board Certification
  • Life support cards- BLS
  • Current and previous certificates of insurance
  • Driver s license
  • Professional color photo / headshot
  • CMEs for the past 2 years
  • Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
  • References
  • Case logs
  • Please Note : Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.

    • Requirement description :

  • Board Certified Interventional Cardiology - [REQUIRED]
  • Active ID license or active IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) - [REQUIRED]
  • Clean malpractice and no background - [REQUIRED]
  • Local candidates, no flights - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
  • Must meet perm rate cap of $25k - [REQUIRED]
  • Must have COVID vaccine in order to work at this facility - [REQUIRED] - Verbal confirmation required at time of name clear
  • Must be able to cover most / all of these open dates - [REQUIRED]
