RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

Work on a 20-bed progressive care unit serving as an inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care

Patient ratios of 1 : 5 / 1 : 6 stretch depending on level of care

Handle medical surgical and / or step-down patients

Focus on short stay patients with less than 24-hour length of stay and quick turnover

Work with telemetry equipment with all patients hardwired to bedside monitors when indicated

Use Cerner electronic medical record system

Every other weekend required, no call required

Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience

Recent progressive care experience preferred

Required certifications : BLS and ACLS

May be required to float to other units as needed

Dress code : Navy and / or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs

Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and strong teamwork skills
