Information Technology Help Desk Technician
American Bank of Freedom is seeking a skilled and customer-focused In-House IT Help Desk Technician to support our internal technology needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical support via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
- Provide clear, user-friendly guidance and support to non-technical staff
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT personnel when necessary
- Document support requests, resolutions, and system changes accurately
- Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and accounts
- Recommend improvements to helpdesk processes and tools
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networkingExperience with troubleshooting hardware and software issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to explain technical concepts in simple termsCustomer-oriented, patient, and proactive in problem-solvingAbility to seek knowledge and synthesize information to assist usersAbility to learn and apply knowledge to issues encounteredAdditional duties may be assigned by the IT Officer and / or Management.
