Hiring a Remote Credit Balancing Specialist!

Schedule : M-F 8 hour day shift

Pay Range : Between $18-$20 / hr

Day to day :

• Research, initiate follow-up and resolve all Medicare Advantage insurance claim accounts with existing credit balances (claim(s) paid more than expected by payer); actions included but not limited to calling the payer, initiating refunds, retractions, and adjustments to claims or addressing correspondence.
• Obtain and keep up to date on payor portal system access and payor contacts; Navigate through various payer systems, call lines, or portals for claim research
• Navigate through multiple internal accounting applications and queues to ensure timely and accurate resolution of assigned claims (30+ accounts daily)
• Consistently meet team expectations for production and quality
• 30+ accounts daily production
• 95%+ quality and accuracy of actions
• Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve account issues autonomously
