Job Description Summary :

The Government department Faculty supports learning on campus in all distance learning modalities. Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. This position starts in August 2026

Job Description :

The Government Department provides six semester hours of instruction in politics and government that acquaint students with the basic concepts used in studying politics and government. Our faculty teach both 2305 US and 2306 Texas Government. In addition the department offers several advanced courses which are available both to Government majors and other students wishing to take an additional course in government as an elective. Our faculty serve Community College students, including Dual Enrolled High School students.
