Job Summary
- Seeking a Compliance Specialist to provide critical support in ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations governing mission-related activities
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective internal controls, compliance programs, and audit processes that uphold organizational integrity and accountability
Primary Responsibilities
Support compliance initiatives to ensure full alignment with federal, state, and international laws and regulations relevant to business and mission operationsConduct periodic and systematic evaluations of internal control systems, audit trails, and compliance documentation to identify deficiencies and recommend process and control improvementsDevelop and maintain a consistent internal control framework across all domestic and international subsidiary operationsPrepare and present compliance status reports, including the identification of gaps and clearance actions, to the executive leadership teamCoordinate and deliver compliance training programs to internal stakeholders and initiate procedural changes in response to new or revised regulationsContinuously monitor, research, and analyze existing, proposed, and newly enacted federal and state statutes to assess potential impact on agency and corporate operationsProvide guidance and subject matter expertise to departments on compliance-related matters, including policy documentation, conformance testing, and ongoing monitoring activitiesCollaborate with internal and external auditors, legal counsel, and risk management personnel to ensure compliance consistency and transparency across all operationsApply critical thinking and reasoning to make analytic determinationsProduce documentation related to compliance incidents or processesManage compliance incidents, including identifying root causes and assessing impact of incidents.Gather information about the legal authorities and obligations to support compliance outcomesCommunicate information and ideas clearly, concisely, and professionallyEstablish and maintain working relationships and networks with customers, colleagues, partners, and representatives of other agenciesWrite, edit, and review routine documents (e.g., emails, memoranda, meeting minutes, status reports, and production reports)Conduct compliance examination activities using multiple investigative techniques and applying investigative standards, policies, and procedures necessary to make competent investigative determinationsApply policy and compliance standards relevant to the organization's missionUse compliance-related tools to audit, monitor, and gather oversight and compliance dataTrain new team membersApply risk management processesIdentify and develop appropriate strategies for completing work efficientlyRequired Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret / SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphA Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Management and Information Technology) from an accredited college or university is requiredEight (8) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree or Seven (7) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or Five (5) years of relevant experience and a Master's degreeTwo (2) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree for a total of Ten (10) yearsDesired Qualifications

The pay range for this role is :
