Johns Hopkins All Childrens doctors, nurses, therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center, bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities.

Position Summary : The Perinatal Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications : The Perinatal Sonographer III :

  • Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
  • Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
  • Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo, Pediatric Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Adult Echo)
  • Current BLS certification, AHA
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

    • Shift : Limited (20 hours per week), Day Shift, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00PM. No weekend or holiday work.

  • This position is located at the West Manatee Health Center in Bradenton, FL (3 days per week).

    • Salary Range : Minimum 36.52 / hour - Maximum 58.44 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
