Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Shakopee, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, who thrives in a manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting inventory management processes.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Record and reconcile journal entries to ensure financial data integrity.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger by performing regular analysis and updates.
• Support inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
