Job Summary :
The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including reporting, forecasting, and cash flow, while contributing to organizational planning as a key member of the leadership team. This role requires a detail-oriented and inquisitive professional who’s eager to master our ERP and financial software systems and drive performance through accurate, insightful financial data. The ideal candidate will embrace our core principles and bring enthusiasm for the equipment and service industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance, overseeing one direct report.
- Become the company’s go-to expert in our financial software platform, leveraging its capabilities to streamline reporting and improve accuracy.
- Redesign the company’s P&L to reflect operational structure, developing departmental financials that support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver timely financial analysis, forecasting, and insights to guide investments, rental operations, and business growth initiatives.
- Partner with company leadership to achieve ambitious growth objectives, ensuring that financial systems are efficient, scalable, and maintain solid internal controls.
- Contribute to planning and execution of a future ERP system upgrade within 3–5 years, particularly in the financial modules.
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and external partners to ensure compliance and support financing needs.
- Monitor and optimize cash flow to sustain daily operations and long-term expansion.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.Proven experience managing all aspects of accounting, budgeting, reporting, and cash flow.Strong technical aptitude and willingness to become proficient in new financial and ERP systems (previous system-specific experience not required).Background in the equipment, construction, or rental industries preferred, but not mandatory; genuine interest in learning the business is essential.Demonstrated skill in cost accounting, analysis, and supporting data-driven management decisions.Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across departments and with leadership.Alignment with company values emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Proactive, analytical, and curious professional eager to improve processes and grow within the organization.Work Environment :
