Director of Agricultural Policy

A company is looking for a Director, Agricultural Policy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of strategies and workplans for agricultural policy focusing on cropland and fertilizer use

Engage with stakeholders to raise funds and advance the organization's mission while identifying emerging issues and trends

Guide the analysis of complex agricultural issues and design solutions to reduce climate impacts while ensuring effective community engagement

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience

Deep subject matter expertise in agriculture and fertilizer use

Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple complex projects in a collaborative environment

Experience building trusted relationships with government agencies, NGOs, and community stakeholders

Willingness and ability to travel as needed
