Part Time Employment Training Specialist

Overview

Location : Westbury

Schedule : 20hrs / Week (Flexible - Hours fall between Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 00pm) Ability to travel throughout Nassau County required

Key / Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Ensures health, wellness and safety by providing appropriate supervision of the people we support and by managing crisis situations while adhering to policies, procedures and regulations, meeting and demonstrating OPWDD Core Competencies.
• Ensures person-centered plans are implemented and assists with a variety of tasks for people we support, as appropriate / authorized, including :

Participating in development of staff action plans

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Minimum qualifications : including education, experience, licensure / certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)
