A public sector organization in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to support its Financial Services Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Interact with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide clear explanations of policies, procedures, and services.
• Process payments, calculate and verify fees, and manage account adjustments while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Perform data entry and records management tasks, ensuring timely and accurate updates to accounts, transactions, and documentation.
• Assist customers in completing forms and provide support in preparing reports, correspondence, and records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to prepare and manage spreadsheets, communications, and internal documentation.
• Provide bilingual (English / Spanish) customer service to meet the needs of a diverse clientele.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and provide timely responses to customer and department needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive customer information and financial data.
