As a Vendor Sourcing Team Lead, you will lead the charge in building and optimizing our nationwide vendor network. Your role is all about connecting the right people to the right projects—fast and efficiently. You will oversee a team that sources, screens, and onboards top-tier subcontractors and suppliers for everything from HVAC and electrical to plumbing and emergency repairs. Using data analytics, you will identify trends, spot opportunities, and make strategic decisions that keep our vendor database strong and agile.
Compensation is $62,500 to $70,000 depending on experience.
In addition to salary, the position offers a bonus incentive program and annual profit sharing.
In this leadership role, you will supervise, coach, and evaluate department staff, providing ongoing professional development to ensure team success. You will clearly communicate key performance indicators, goals, and responsibilities, fostering accountability and alignment across the team.
You’ll be hands-on in negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards, all while building relationships that drive reliability and performance. At the end of the day, your mission is simple : deliver seamless, cost-effective solutions that keep our clients’ facilities running smoothly.

Primary Functions :
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify patterns and trends, then present these findings through reports and visualizations to provide actionable decisions used to expand and optimize the vendor and subcontractor database and process.
- Supervise, coach and evaluate department staff and provide professional development.
- Communicate key performance indicators, goals, and responsibilities to staff.
- Cultivate and manage subcontractor relationships through scheduled calls and check-ups to ensure that services outsourced meet quality standards, align with company objectives, and are completed on time.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on factors such as trade, location, price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Conduct vendor evaluations to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Process new vendor applications, retrieve required documents, certifications, insurance, and contracts.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
- Ensure all subcontractor documentation is up to date and in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update the vendor / subcontractor database, to ensure all certificates of insurance, W9s, and related qualification documents, credit terms and conditions are current and satisfy best practices.
- Mediate and reconcile vendor and subcontractor account and contract disagreements.
- Provide support to the Facilities Maintenance department and clients' facilities nationwide, as needed.
Requirements
Strong Analytical skills : trend identification and reporting, data visualization and analysis.Previous experience supervising personnel, training and evaluating staff, and utilizing effective leadership.Operate accurately and effectively within a high-volume environment, working with a sense of urgency, entering data into work-order systems, accounting platforms, , and databases.A “customer service culture” where your communication and interaction uses a positive tone, building comfortable and positive relationships with employees, subcontractors, vendors and clients.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand vendor and client needs, take “problem-solving ownership”, and relay accurate information.IT literacy, including daily use of relevant Work Order ERP systems, utilizing spreadsheets, word processing, email, calendar / scheduling, and cloud-sharing systems (Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel, and MS SharePoint preferred).Operate standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and telephones.Operate in an environment of sensitive financial and client information, understanding the need for confidentiality and maintaining data-protection processes and best practices.Benefits
