American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with GE MRI equipment proficiency and ARRT registration for an evening shift role in a fast-paced environment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit in a hospital settingEvening shifts with a rotating schedule covering both days and eveningsResponsible for performing all technical and mechanical aspects of MRI imagingRequires ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentProficient use of GE MRI equipment is requiredResponsible for Point of Care Testing and QA / maintenance on related equipmentMust respond appropriately to medical emergencies and function effectively in stressful situationsMust be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, providers, and medical office personnelCompletion of pass / fail testing including Tele / ECG and Medication tests is requiredCOVID vaccine, booster, and seasonal flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)No local candidates accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facilityA minimum 6-month break required for returning employees from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facilityAll requests for time off must be presented at the time of considerationExperience with QA procedures and understanding of clinical history for MRI exams required\n \n Requirements\n
Graduate of an accredited MRI program and / or current R.T. (MR) (ARRT) registrationCurrent R.T. (MR) (ARRT) registration is requiredCPR certification requiredMust have at least one year of recent MRI experienceProficiency in venipuncture is requiredMust be able to recognize normal and abnormal anatomy and pathologyAbility to work quickly with minimal supervision is essentialMA state license required if applicable\n Benefits\n
