Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment Location : Schenectady, NY 12308 (New York healthcare jobs) Setting : Emergency Department (ED) – 70 bed unit Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am, 30-minute unpaid break) Schedule : Every other weekend required; no call; no self-scheduling; scheduled based on facility needs Hours per Week : 36 Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 18 / 2025 – End : 2 / 14 / 2026) Floating : Required to ED Observation Unit and units within competency Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880 - $2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York State RN license (NYS) Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross; PALS required at time of submission) TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred CPI certification preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred Ability to float to ED Observation Unit and other units as needed Compliance documents due 7 days prior to start date Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department Perform drips, infusions, phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, medication administration, and patient transports Care for diverse patient populations : cardiac, trauma, pediatric, mental health, and more Float to ED Observation Unit and other units within competency Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including mental health technicians, psychiatric crisis workers, and physicians Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR Follow facility policies regarding scheduling, attire, and compliance Apply now to join our healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Schenectady, NY!
