Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating individualized care plans
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on your certification)
  • Educating patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management
  • Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your practice scope
  • Engaging in patient follow-up and comprehensive care management
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and seamless care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education and Credentials
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
