Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with underwriting policies, guidelines, and legal obligations

Provide technical expertise in medical and non-medical underwriting and develop competitive guidelines

Analyze data trends and make recommendations for underwriting practices and product development

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

8+ years of relevant work experience in Disability Insurance Underwriting

Established approval limits for underwriting without second signature

3+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools

Strong understanding of underwriting practices and regulatory compliance
