Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level M) to lead the EPAWSS program in San Antonio, Texas.
This Senior Manager will report to the Director of EPAWSS Manufacturing & Safety, and will be responsible for the People, Safety, Quality, Compliance, Delivery, Cost & Innovation performance while delivering product to our internal Boeing Programs.
The selected candidate will interact with the cross-functional production support team, operations, executive leadership, and regulatory agencies. This position requires strong leadership and people skills, the ability to solve problems, proactively identify issues, and develop and communicate action plans.

Position Responsibilities :
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
- Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, assembly and / or aerospace environment5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams5+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiativesAbility to work any shift based on the needs of the operationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Bachelor's Degree or higherActive Secret or Top Secret Clearance5+ years of experience in a final assembly or airplane manufacturing role5+ years of experience in using Lean principles5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and / or One Boeing Production System (One BPS).5+ years of experience coaching, guiding and mentoring teams5+ years advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problemsDrug Free Workplace :
