Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team!
We're searching for someone who is compassionate, organized, and ready to jump into a fast-paced clinic where
no two days are the same. If you enjoy working closely with veterinarians, helping pets heal, and building relationships with clients, you might be the perfect fit!
What You'll Do As a valued member of our team, you'll help provide exceptional care to our patients by:
- Assisting veterinarians with exams, diagnoses, and treatments
- Administering medications and treatments
- Performing laboratory tests and reviewing results
- Taking and developing X-rays
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting during procedures
- Providing nursing care for hospitalized animals
- Communicating with pet owners about their pet's health and care plan
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Helping keep equipment and clinic spaces clean and organized
- Assisting with inventory and supply ordering
What We're Looking For - Licensed Veterinary Technician in Michigan
- Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility for occasional weekends or holidays
