A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative 2 specializing in hospital billing and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Handle escalated account and payer disputes, including complex edits and appeals

Administer the Carle Financial Assistance Program and other discount programs

Identify payer and system issues to initiate process improvements and optimize systems

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Accounts Receivable Representative 1 responsibilities

Experience with advanced account activities, including bankruptcies and risk management

Ability to participate in meetings with payer representatives to enhance reimbursement

Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and compliance

Experience in handling escalated appeals and complex billing inquiries
