Job Title : Medical Technologist (MT / MLT) - Clinical Laboratory

Location : Kenedy, TX

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Schedule : Alternating Weeks (Week 1 : Thursday-Saturday | Week 2 : Thursday, Friday, and Sunday)

Hourly Rate : Starting at $28 / hour (higher based on experience)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to work overnight shifts in a clinical laboratory setting. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, experienced, and capable of working independently during night shifts on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform clinical laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, protocols, and safety standards.
Analyze specimens across a variety of laboratory disciplines.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Document results clearly and enter data into the EMR system (CPSI).
Collaborate with clinical staff to support timely patient diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience (3-5 years preferred).

Must have a valid Texas Medical Technologist license.

Graduate of a CLIA-approved Laboratory Science program or certified by one of the following :

ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)

AMT (American Medical Technologists)

AB (American Board)

HEW (Health and Education Welfare)

Strong technical knowledge in all core laboratory areas.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
