  • Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel RN contract\n
  • Start Date : November 23, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 22, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13-week travel nursing assignment\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250\n
  • Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs\n
  • EMR System : Epic\n

    • \n\nCVICU RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or compact; or willingness to obtain)\n
  • 2-3 years of recent CVICU nursing experience\n
  • Experience in a Level One Trauma Center required\n
  • Clinical expertise with postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU\n
  • Proficient in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, a-lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and titration of vasoactive / inotropic drips\n
  • Epic EMR experience required\n
  • Ability to pass a clinical competency test within 24 hours of submission\n

    • \n\nCVICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiac and vascular surgery patients\n
  • Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic parameters and life-support equipment\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
  • Interpret ECGs, manage temporary pacemakers, and titrate vasoactive and inotropic medications\n
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR\n
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to hospital policies and procedures\n
