What You'll Do

In this role, you will supervise engineering projects to deliver satellite communications system equipment and services for airline connectivity, along with providing technical support. Your responsibilities will include :

• Ensuring customer technical requirements are met for the integration of satellite communication equipment (including modems, antennas, power supplies, radomes, and passenger user interface software) onto aircraft platforms
• Ensuring the integration hardware and software are installable and supportable
• Facilitating technical communication between internal teams, suppliers, and customers
• Coordinating successful on?aircraft testing and prototype installations

You will collaborate with the customer and the engineering integrator to build, implement, and maintain an in?flight connectivity installation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to apply your project engineering and communication skills within a multi?functional engineering team, engaging in both verbal and written interactions with the customer, partners, and Viasat senior leadership.

Salary range

$120,000.00 - $189,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $132,000.00- $198,000.00 / annually. At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job?related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
