Must-Have : Strong cardiac OR competency with the ability to work independently after short orientation to surgeon preferences.

Description :

Work shift will start at 6 : 45 AM and end at 5 : 15 PM.

Experience in cardiovascular operating room is required.

First-timers are accepted.

Some on-call shifts will be required.

Call shifts are from 5 : 15 PM to 6 : 30 AM on weekdays and from 6 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 AM on weekends.

The amount of call will vary based on scheduling needs.

The clinician may need to float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Must be able to first scrub independently in multiple service lines.

Experience in endovascular / hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, and robotic specialties is preferred.

In addition to scrubbing, the nurse will be needed to function in a circulator role.

Candidates should have experience with cardiac / open heart procedures and a strong preference for a circulator / scrub combination.

Daily census in the unit will be around 35 patients.

Primary work assignment is open heart surgeries.

The clinician may float to various specialties as assigned based on needs.

Must complete all necessary compliance requirements prior to starting.

Candidates must have the ability to adjust to changes in the schedule as it accommodates the operating room needs.

Self-scheduling is used for call shifts.

References may be required prior to hiring.

Candidates must ensure their availability aligns with the contract requirements.
