Sign-On Bonus : $10,000 for full-time offers

North 4 is a 23 bed nursing unit with telemetry cardiac monitoring capability for all patient beds. The nursing skill mix is 65% Registered nurse / 35% patient care technician. The patient population on North 4 is cardiac medical. The major patient diagnoses includes : heart failure, pre / post cardiac catherization, cardiac diagnostic and intervention, myocardial infarction and medical overflow.

All newly licensed RNs or RNs with less than six months of acute RN experience and who are interested in this department or any other Acute RN role within UnityPoint Health - Des Moines, are encouraged and required to participate in the RN Residency program.
