Structural Welder | $20 - 26 / HR | 1ST SHIFT and 3RD SHIFT

Job Description

We are seeking 10 skilled Welders to join our team at a steel fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural steel MIG, Flux Core and tack welding. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure to the 1 / 16th of an inch and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mig, flux core and tack welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Use hand tools and tape measures accurately.
• Engage in fabrication activities including grinding and welding with various techniques like MIG, TIG, and pulse MIG.
• Handle construction and mechanical tasks involving stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
• 1-2 years of experience in structural steel welding or pipe welding
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
• Experience in flux core welding and tack welding.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Pay / Shift / Contract Type

Monday - Thursday | 6am - 4 : 30pm

3 month Contract-to-Hire | For the first 3 months you will be an Aerotek Employee with the opportunity to be hired on directly with the company after the contract period.
