About The Position

Labor and post-partum experience is required.

Required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.

Candidates must have experience with high-risk antepartum care and labor management.

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The selected clinician must have strong precepting skills.

Patient ratios will be 1 : 3.

Travelers may be expected to float between adjacent facilities.

The hospital has a daily census of approximately 12 patients.

Experience with a variety of obstetrical procedures is required.

The nurse will assist with triaging obstetrical patients and carrying out specialized interventions.

Strong patient assessment skills are necessary for success in this role.

The clinician should be comfortable using electronic medical records (Epic).

Candidates must be willing to work holidays.

Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.

References from supervisors covering employment in similar settings are needed.

All candidates must provide documentation for required certifications.

This position does not accept local candidates.

Housing options may be limited in the area.
