Senior Programmer

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.  In addition to the responsibilities below, the Programmer will be responsible for the overall success of software design, database creation, and the implementation of procedures and standards used in the programming of controls projects. This requires travel in New York and is fully onsite.

• Breakdown scope of work into manageable segments and coordinate with Project Manager for scheduling.
• Follow sequence of operations as required by project documents according to company standards.
• Develop and create system graphics.
• Integrate to third party equipment through BACnet and / or Modbus protocol.
• Troubleshoot and correct BMS integration issues alongside Field Technicians.
• Mentor Junior Programmers.
• Act as Programming Team Lead on projects as required or necessary.
• Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives.
• Support quality and safety standards, specifications and policies, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies.
• Support a culture based on open / honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance.
• Support a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business.

Requirements

Pay Rate : $52-$63 / hr. DOE.
