What You’ll Do
In this pivotal role, you will :
Develop, manage, and implement strategies to grow corporate and foundation giving, including grants.
Identify and cultivate relationships with public, private, and corporate foundations to secure catalytic and sustainable funding.
Lead and support grant writing efforts — from proposals to reports — ensuring accuracy and compelling storytelling.
Partner with internal teams to develop fundable projects, plan site visits, and host donor meetings.
Steward existing donors with excellent communication and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a strategic, relationship-driven professional who thrives on making an impact. You have :
A Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field (required).
5+ years of experience in fundraising, marketing / sales, or a related field, with demonstrated success in building partnerships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you know how to craft a compelling case for support.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and leadership.
The ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Virtuous CRM is a plus.
