Salary Range : $28-$32 per hour

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 am to 2 : 00 pm OR 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

Location : Portland, OR

Description

As a Commercial Driver for our Heavy-Duty Repair Shop, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient transportation of vehicles, parts, and equipment to various locations as needed. This position requires a high level of flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction. This position is local to Portland Oregon with a potential driving radius up to 300 miles.

Requirements

• Vehicle Transportation :
• Operate commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other specialized equipment, to transport vehicles, parts, and equipment to and from customer locations, suppliers, and other facilities.
• Route Planning, Navigation, process adherence :
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules, minimize travel time, and maximize fuel efficiency.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability :
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities, last-minute requests, and unexpected challenges.
• Customer Service :
• Interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, providing courteous and prompt service while representing the company in a positive manner.
