Account Manager
As the Account Manager for Silverseal, in performance of this role's functions for our client account at a construction site at midtown New York, NY, you will support the Client's operational business, a construction site, and provide a safe and secure environment. You will achieve this by maximizing the effectiveness of the security team by providing superior leadership and executing a robust and holistic security strategy. Additionally, you will be a Silverseal representative for opportunities in the greater New York City area.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Supervise all aspects of the account, including the day-to-day service provided to the Client, and ensure that service is of the highest standard.
- Lead the program independently with minimal supervision.
- Lead and manage the account, and all operational, administrative, personnel management, and financial components, and provide management reports to the corporate office demonstrating compliance with same.
- Meaningfully mentor and motivate staff.
- Train the security team on all aspects of security operations, and ethical security methods. Train the shift managers ("Train the Trainer"), to train their team on the full curriculum of standard security operations. The corporate office will assist with specialized training.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Client and employees, and serve as the liaison between Silverseal, our Client, and assigned staff.
- Primary liaison with local law enforcement for both planning and response.
- Primary point of contact for emergency services.
- Meet regularly with Client to provide status updates, address problems, communicate needs, and ensure satisfaction.
- Serve as the client's primary link with all other security vendors on property.
- Respond quickly to critical situations, read, and write detailed reports, and enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Escalate sensitive and / or major incidents to the GM.
- Conduct operational and Human Resource investigations promptly as required and ensure reports are complete and distributed as appropriate.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to report any damage, systems faults (such as fire alarm, security systems), theft, damage, and property damage in accordance with the agreed reporting procedure.
- Recruitment and Retention - participate actively in the recruiting, selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the account.
- Maintain dynamic schedule to fulfill the varying responsibilities of the role.
- Plan and implement processes for peak periods (events, inductions, access control, restrictions)
- Ensure profitability of the account.
- Holistically manage and maintain full staffing, time and attendance, and personnel performance, overtime management, and prevent lost hours / dark posts.
- Ensure complete Payroll and Billing accuracy.
- Closely support the corporate finance department by validating all personnel attendance, timeliness, payroll, and invoicing records at the site level and handing off same to the corporate finance team.
- Ensure complete integrity in personnel management programs, time and attendance procedures and systems, including the integrity of employee clocking in / out.
- Ensure complete compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in assigned account.
- Wherever applicable introduce measurements and key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure that standards are constantly maintained / improved.
- Control Room management Work with client and senior management to elevate Control Room to become a true SOC (Special Operations Center), providing a real-time situational awareness center, and mechanism to manage client and Silverseal resources. Ensure the technical equipment is operating to full expectations, conduct CCTV audits, Access Control audits, and ensure data protection compliance.
Work Experience :
5 years of experience successfully managing a business portfolio in the staffed guarding business.Demonstrated ability to holistically manage all operations of a security program, including operational, administrative, financial, payroll, scheduling, and human relations.Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; prior work-related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.Law enforcement or military experience preferred.Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent staffing needs.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently, and with a team.Positive, solution-focused attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, including motivational abilities.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical, executive, administrative and problem-solving skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling related software.Benefits :
