- Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system Proficiency in cardiac stimulators, radiofrequency generators, and CRM programmers Professional references required Ability to float within hospital or to affiliated healthcare facilities as needed Electrophysiology Technologist Responsibilities Assist EP physicians and medical staff with invasive electrophysiology procedures for patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, and geriatric) Provide technical support for arrhythmia procedures, including implantation and programming of pacemakers, defibrillators, and other arrhythmia control devices Monitor patients during electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, intervening as necessary Set up, operate, and maintain specialized EP lab equipment Perform and assist with diagnostic EP studies, atrial flutter / fibrillation ablations, PVC / SVT / VT ablations, temporary pacemaker insertions, Watchman, Lariat, loop recorders, and related procedures Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety and sterile protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nursing, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy Ready to take the next step in your electrophysiology technologist career?
