Title : Business Consultant

Location : Hybrid, Tuesday - Thursday are onsite in Philadelphia, PA.

Terms of Employment

  • W2 Contract, 8 Months
  • This position is hybrid. Tuesday - Thursday are onsite in Philadelphia, PA.
  • The standard work hours are 8 AM-5 PM.
  • Local candidates only

Overview

Our client is seeking a Business Consultant to support the Business Planning & Budgets team, where the consultant will leverage their expertise in consulting methodologies and project management to analyze business processes, develop actionable recommendations, and lead client engagements. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, manage client relationships, and deliver impactful solutions. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for guiding junior consultants and ensuring the successful implementation of project strategies within the team.

The contractor would be working with a team on ACT-129 Project.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the analysis of client business processes, goals, and challenges.
  • Conducting research and gathering data to support consulting engagements.
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, such as project plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Developing and delivering client deliverables, such as recommendations and action plans.
  • Leading client meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop and implement solutions that meet client needs.
  • Developing and delivering client presentations and workshops.
  • Identifying and documenting project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior consultants.

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Accrual experience
  • Hyperion reporting experience
  • Prior experience with the month-end close process.
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables.
  • Ability to consolidate information in numerical form.
  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline-driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortability reaching out to others.
