Security Officer - Armed Aero / Defense Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Aero / Defense Patrol in Seal Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This driving and armed post allows you to remain visible, interact with personnel, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Pay Rate : $24.63 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Mon 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wed 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm as required for the post.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with attention to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of all persons and / or vehicles entering or exiting the location.
  • Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and observations.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment, and respond according to established procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
