Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team to provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting. As an SLP, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication needs through standardized tests and observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including one-on-one and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech and language goals.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of IEP development and state and federal regulations related to special education.
