PCU RN Job Details – Dallas, Texas Location : Dallas, TX 75230 (North Texas Division) Unit : Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Progressive Care Unit Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : November 4, 2025 End Date : February 3, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Number of Beds : 40 (20 per floor) Patient Ratio : Target 1 : 3, stretch 1 : 4 Dress Code : Royal blue scrubs PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, Oncology, or Bone Marrow Transplant nursing experience Chemo Certification (ONS required) BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Experience with telemetry and simple titration of drips preferred Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills Ability to float to other units as needed PCU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Bone Marrow Transplant patients in a progressive care hospital setting Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions Interpret telemetry and manage simple titration of IV drips Conduct bedside shift reports and participate in safety rounds Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Assist with bone marrow biopsies and support advanced therapies, including CAR-T cell therapy Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR Adhere to hospital and unit-specific policies and clinical guidelines Enjoy a supportive work environment with outstanding teamwork and resources for contract nurses.
