General Surgeon needed in New Mexico

Specialty : Board Certified General Surgeons

Client : Indian Health Service

Location : New Mexico

Commitment : Initial 3-month commitment with ability to extend

Schedule / Shifts Times : Block schedule : (5-10 shifts / month). Clinic hours : Monday Friday, 8a 4 : 30p (# of days flexible)

Call : available 24 / 7. Weekday & Weekend call

Patient Volume : 5-9 patients per day average in clinic, number of procedures per day while in surgery 4

Patient Ages : All ages

Types of Cases : Bread & Butter GS , upper and lower endos (No vascular, C-sections, hearts or heads)

Type of Charting : EMR

Requirements : BLS, ACLS (through American Heart), DEA

Credentialing Timeframe : 8 weeks on average

Additional Info : any State License
